The Adult Mental Health Program provides supportive services to adults age 18 and over with severe and persistent mental illness. The needs of people served are diverse with a broad continuum of care, from outpatient assessment to inpatient hospitalization, with a strong focus on community-based psychosocial rehabilitation.

Often, it can be a challenge to understand why a child is consistently unhappy, angry, aggressive, or anxious, or why a child persistently behaves in ways that are not acceptable. If your child is having emotional or behavioral difficulties, Children’s Services at Tri-County offers a broad range of resources for children with adjustment and behavioral disorders.

Tri-County's Expanded Child and Youth Mental Health Clinic in Huntsville is now open. Porter Location
Now Open

Tri-County's new Child and Youth Mental Health Clinic in Porter is now open. Services include Initial Evaluation and Intake, Psychiatric Evaluation, Medication Management, Nursing, Therapy, Skills Training, Wraparound Case Management, and Family Partner Services. The new service location is at 23750 FM 1314 in Porter, TX.

Crisis Services

Crisis Services provides crisis intervention, assessment, and referral for voluntary and involuntary psychiatric hospitalization. Crisis services can be accessed through any of the mental health clinics in all 3 counties (Liberty, Montgomery, and Walker). For crisis services, individuals should contact the crisis line (800-659-6994) or call 911 (for life-threatening emergencies).

Tri-County offers a variety of services to individuals with qualifying intellectual and developmental disabilities and related conditions. Offered services include case management, day habilitation, supported employment, community support, autism services, home and community-based services, and more.

Veterans Services are available to anyone who has served in the United States military and their families. Care coordination, peer support, referrals, and various grants are available regardless of benefit status.

Tri-County's Consumer Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit foundation that benefits current Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare consumers by awarding financial grants and scholarships to increase the consumers' quality of life and independent living to the best of each individual's ability within our communities.

Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare is now recognized as a Certified Community Behavioral Clinic (CCBHC) by the State of Texas. CCBHCs are designed to provide integrated, culturally sensitive treatment and recovery support for adults and families with behavioral health needs, trauma, and chronic disease.
